Luxury Boutique Hotel
There are an endless number of groovy boutique hotels in the Catalan capital, but Hotel Omm is without doubt one of the best. Situated in a central location near Paseo de Garcia, an architectural series of wavy panels defines the exterior of the building with glass entryway marked by dapper doorman in mandarin collared suit.
Above the serine architecture of perfectly places sectionals and rectangular fireplace of the lobby lounge, what makes Omm standout is its endless quest for a balance between cool people and impeccable facilities like its Michelin stared restaurant and Ommsession nightclub carefully tucked at opposite ends of the lobby.
Home to two eateries, the more casual Moovida and fancier Moo, the interior courtyard of the hotel has been turned into an on-site organic garden where many of the salads and vegetables are harvested for the seasonal dining menus. On the roof is a rather small rooftop pool but with bigger than expected lounge and line-up of seasonal events throughout the warmer summer months
The Room
Hotel Omm has been on the scene for more than a few years, dominating the local boutique hotel market with some of the best interiors that are continually updated and maintained without feeling dated or worn. Larger than it looks, a series of 91 rooms includes 17 upgraded suites with wide plank hardwood floors and loft-style living areas with canopy beds and open-flow bathrooms. Standard rooms are King-bedded space with small seating area and zen-inspired bath suites with long console vanities and rain shower or soaking tubs.
